Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments including intake interviews and psychological evaluations to identify clients’ needs, strengths, and challenges.

• Facilitate structured therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to individual, couple, and family dynamics.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, client goals, and therapeutic frameworks.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of client interactions, sessions, and progress to comply with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

• Continually engage in professional development by participating in clinical supervision, training sessions, and staying up to date with research in therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMFT will serve a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. You will encounter a wide range of issues, such as anxiety, depression, relational conflicts, and trauma, thus requiring a versatile approach to therapy and a deep understanding of family systems.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field.

• Current LMFT licensure in good standing within the state of Maryland.
\n
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, or Emotionally Focused Therapy.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy, active listening, and the ability to create a safe environment for clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of clinical experience in providing therapy in family systems and individual counseling.

• Previous experience conducting group therapy sessions is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
