Clinical Staff Pharmacist - Norristown, Pennsylvania

An opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in infusion at a leading specialty pharmacy. This contract position is based in Norristown, PA, supporting critical infusion pharmacy services at a major university medical campus.


The role focuses primarily on clinical responsibilities, including verifying medications, supervising pharmacy technicians, and utilizing clinical expertise to ensure safe and effective medication use. Hands-on home infusion experience is essential, with the capability to prepare IV admixtures and maintain sterile technique as needed. Familiarity with the Brightree system is a plus but training can be provided.


Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct clinical reviews and verify medication orders for infusion therapies
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians during medication preparation
• Prepare intravenous admixtures following aseptic techniques as required
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, unrestricted Pennsylvania pharmacist license in good standing
• Proven home infusion pharmacy experience with clinical and compounding skills
• Comfort working in a fast-paced specialty pharmacy setting
• Experience with Brightree software preferred, but not mandatory
