Advance your career in pediatric speech-language pathology in a vibrant school setting serving students from PreK through transition ages (up to 23 for special education students). This dynamic contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful difference while collaborating across multiple campuses—including three elementary buildings, a middle school, and a high school.
Your role centers on delivering comprehensive speech and language support, working with a weighted caseload configuration: up to 80 school-age students and 50 preschoolers, or a mix within these ratios. The assignment runs from August 20th through June 4th, 2027, providing stability and a full school-year experience.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Ohio SLP licensure and ODE credential required
- Clinical competence in school, healthcare, or pediatric SLP settings
- CCC-SLP or strong CFY candidates are welcome
- Experience providing services to students with diverse communication needs, including those with special education requirements
- Ability to manage a balanced caseload across multiple school sites
- Strong collaborative and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide direct speech/language therapy for students from preschool to transition ages
- Develop and implement IEP goals, track student progress, and maintain thorough documentation
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Adapt intervention strategies to support student success across functional, academic, and social settings
