Bright Tomorrow Counseling Center is actively seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist specializing in mood disorders. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while contributing to our outpatient office's mission of providing exceptional mental health services. The therapist will be integral in delivering therapy based on evidence-based practices to help clients navigate the challenges of mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions.

Work Environment\n

This role operates in a predominantly remote environment but requires regular interaction with an outpatient team of psychiatrists and mental health professionals. As part of our growing practice, you will enjoy a collaborative atmosphere that emphasizes teamwork and ongoing professional development. While standard hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, there may be occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotating basis to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments of clients to evaluate the presence and severity of mood disorder symptoms, including the frequency and duration.

• Collaborate closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their individual goals and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate therapy sessions effectively.

• Provide educational resources and emotional support to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment pathways, and self-care techniques.

• Track client progress regularly, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on feedback and outcomes.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and medical professionals to deliver integrated care that addresses both psychological and pharmacological needs.

• Stay current with research advancements in mood disorder treatment to continuously refine therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain complete and confidential documentation in compliance with all ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in case consultations, staff meetings, and ongoing training sessions to support professional growth and adherence to best practices in mood disorder treatment.

• Actively advocate for clients' mental health needs and work toward reducing the stigma surrounding mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will primarily work with clients presenting mood disorders, providing care to individuals who may experience significant emotional distress and disruption in daily life. Our clients vary widely in age, background, and severity of condition, promoting a rich, diverse clinical experience. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current, valid license as either an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A strong foundation in therapeutic techniques, particularly those focused on mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
