Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders in clients, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their specific goals, preferences, and cultural backgrounds, thereby fostering a client-centered approach to care.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring best practices are employed to enhance treatment efficacy.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families about mood disorders, discussing treatment options and self-care strategies that empower them on their recovery journey.

• Continuously monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on their evolving needs and responses to therapy.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other medical staff to coordinate care, ensuring clients receive comprehensive treatment that addresses both psychological and pharmacological needs.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in case consultations and team meetings to share insights and learn from peers in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Bright Tomorrow Counseling Center, our primary focus is on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression and bipolar disorder, as well as anxiety-related conditions. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique experiences and challenges. As a therapist, you will craft customized treatment approaches to meet each client's distinct needs, creating a therapeutic alliance based on trust and understanding.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and provide integrated care for clients.

• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience specializing in the treatment of mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
