We’re seeking a strong Executive Sous Chef to join an established, high-performing restaurant and work alongside an experienced culinary leadership team. The Role
As Executive Sous Chef , you’ll serve as the right hand to the Executive Chef, helping oversee daily BOH operations, leading service, and ensuring the kitchen consistently delivers exceptional food and execution.
You’ll play a key role in developing the culinary team, maintaining standards, and keeping the operation running efficiently and effectively.
What You’ll Own
- Lead and execute high-volume service with precision and consistency
- Oversee daily BOH operations, systems, and standards
- Train, mentor, and develop Sous Chefs and line-level team members
- Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and sanitation
- Assist with inventory, ordering, scheduling, and cost controls
- Help drive accountability and operational excellence
- Build a strong, disciplined, and team-focused kitchen culture
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume upscale or polished-casual restaurant
- Executive Sous Chef or strong Senior Sous Chef experience preferred
- Proven ability to lead and develop large culinary teams
- Strong understanding of food cost, labor, inventory, and operational systems
- Calm, confident, and hands-on leadership style
- Detail-oriented with high standards and strong accountability
