Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to ascertain clients' mental health requirements, concerns, and aspirations.

• Deliver evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques to address issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress.

• Craft personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, establishing specific and achievable goals tailored to their preferences and lifestyle.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and ongoing support to clients in acute mental health distress, ensuring they feel safe and secure during challenging times.

• Enhance clients’ understanding of mental health challenges by educating them on coping mechanisms, resources, and community support systems.
\n
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of client records, including initial assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcome measures, adhering to all legal and ethical protocols.

• Follow ethical guidelines and legal standards governing therapy practices, ensuring client confidentiality and informed consent at all stages of care.
\n
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and competence by acknowledging and embracing diverse backgrounds and experiences among clients.

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and administrative staff, to deliver holistic client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients encompass individuals and families across various age groups dealing with a myriad of mental health challenges, including, but not limited to, anxiety disorders, major depressive disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, and stress-related conditions. The successful candidate will cater to a diverse population, adapting therapeutic techniques to resonate with clients from all walks of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington.
