Specializing in conditions such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues, you will play a critical role in enhancing our clients' mental health outcomes through a blend of assessment, therapeutic intervention, and support.

Work Environment\n

This role offers a fully remote work arrangement, providing you with the flexibility to balance your professional and personal life. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evenings and weekends on a rotational basis. Working from home allows you to create a comfortable workspace where you can focus on delivering the best care to your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, including their severity, frequency, and impact on daily functioning.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that take into consideration their unique goals, preferences, and circumstances.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.

• Provide familial support and education about mood disorders, exploring treatment options and self-care strategies to empower clients and their loved ones.
\n
• Consistently monitor and document clients’ progress in therapy, adjusting treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive care plan that integrates all aspects of the clients’ well-being.

• Stay current with advancements in mood disorder treatment through ongoing education, research review, and clinical supervision.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all client interactions in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team consultations and staff meetings to contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and evidence-based practice.

• Advocate for the de-stigmatization of mental health issues, promoting awareness and understanding of mood disorders within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients experiencing mood disorders, including adolescents and adults from various backgrounds. Our clinic values diversity and aims to cater to a wide demographic by understanding each client's unique life experiences and challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold a current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• A strong foundation in evidence-based modalities for treating mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
\n
• Outstanding communication skills and an ability to form strong therapeutic alliances with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience focusing specifically on mood disorders is preferred.

• Demonstrated expertise in psychopharmacology and collaboration with psychiatrists to align therapy with medical treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
