Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings remotely to evaluate patients' mental health needs. Develop tailored treatment plans that reflect their concerns and goals, using evidence-based methodologies.

• Provide individual counseling sessions through our telehealth platform, offering crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing a range of mental health challenges.

• Facilitate engaging therapy groups and workshops online that address essential topics in mental health, personal growth, and coping strategies to foster a supportive community among patients.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including medical professionals and support staff, to coordinate comprehensive care and improve patient outcomes.

• Maintain detailed, secure, and organized patient records in alignment with ethical guidelines and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary patients will include individuals from various backgrounds seeking support for issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Understanding the unique contextual factors affecting these populations is critical to your success, as you will be operating in a remote environment where establishing rapport online is essential.

Qualifications\n

• Active and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required. A Master's or Doctoral degree is preferred.

• Proven knowledge of contemporary mental health issues and the skills to address the specific challenges faced by patients in a telehealth context.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients effectively and collaborate successfully with multidisciplinary teams.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapies and an ability to implement brief therapeutic models suited for a counseling environment.

• Capacity to efficiently manage a varied caseload in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a high standard of care.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of relevant counseling experience, ideally in a telehealth or similar setting.

• Previous work with hospital patients or similar client groups will be a significant advantage.
