Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify areas of need and establish individualized treatment plans based on these assessments.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise regimens, and the use of specialized equipment to improve patient outcomes.
• Regularly track and document each patient's treatment progress, adjustments made, and responses to therapies, ensuring an evidence-based approach to care.
• Engage in continuous reevaluation of patients' conditions to modify treatment plans as required, ensuring they remain aligned with therapeutic goals and personal needs.
• Educate patients and their families on the importance of adherence to therapy regimes and the use of assistive devices to aid in self-care and mobility.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the field by attending workshops, participating in professional organizations, and engaging in peer review and best practice discussions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists work with a wide range of patients, from pediatric to geriatric populations, many of whom are coping with challenges related to post-surgical recovery, chronic pain, neurological disorders, and sports-related injuries. This diverse client base requires a therapist who is skilled in adaptive techniques and able to communicate effectively across different age groups and varying levels of ability.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction and documentation.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills, including word processing and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• A flexible and adaptable nature, capable of adjusting to the varying demands of patient treatments.

Preferred Experience

• While prior experience is not required, newly graduated Physical Therapists are encouraged to apply. Mentorship opportunities are provided to ensure professional growth and development.
