This fully remote position allows you the flexibility to craft your own schedule while making a positive impact on the mental health of our diverse clientele. With a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality therapy services to individuals, couples, and families.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental and emotional well-being through structured interviews and standardized assessments.

• Evaluate clients' needs, issues, and goals to develop personalized treatment plans in a collaborative manner.

• Provide individual therapy sessions addressing a wide range of mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics.

• Facilitate couples therapy sessions to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and enhance relationship dynamics.
\n
• Regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments, ensuring they reflect clients’ evolving needs and progress.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes and treatment plans, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate comprehensive care and resource sharing among healthcare providers.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during acute distress or emergencies, deploying appropriate therapeutic techniques.

• Stay informed about the latest research and trends in marriage and family therapy to enhance therapeutic approaches.

• Engage in continual professional development and training opportunities to build upon your expertise in the field.

• Advocate for clients' rights and empower them to make informed decisions about their treatment options.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Woman's Counseling Center serves a diverse client base, including individuals from various cultural, socioeconomic, and age backgrounds. As a therapist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with children, adolescents, adults, and couples, addressing a wide array of mental health concerns. Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field is required.

• An active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board is mandatory.

• Demonstrated experience providing effective individual and/or couples therapy.
\n
• Experience working with various age groups and familiarity with the specific challenges faced by children and families.

• Strong skills in maintaining thorough and timely documentation, including client assessments and treatment plans.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills with a proven ability to engage effectively with clients and families.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation and client interactions.
\n
• Background in community health settings or similar environments is advantageous.
