As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at MindShift, you will engage in collaborative discussions with a diverse healthcare team, ensuring comprehensive care coordination. Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will:

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are grounded in psychosocial assessments and aligned with established social work methodologies.

• Foster professional relationships with community leaders and resource groups to enhance patient care and address their social and psychological needs.

• Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic counseling to patients experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges, employing evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Document patient progress meticulously, including detailed clinical notes, assessments, and treatment interventions in adherence to the organization's policies and regulatory requirements.

• Communicate proactively with physicians and other healthcare team members regarding patient status, emerging needs, and overall treatment efficacy to ensure cohesive care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily revolve around engaging with individuals and families facing complex mental health challenges. The diverse patient population includes adults, adolescents, and children who benefit from tailored therapy sessions, group programs, and family counseling. You will address issues ranging from anxiety, trauma, and depression to substance abuse disorders, ensuring that therapies are personalized and culturally responsive.

Qualifications\n

• Your professional background should include at least 3 years of experience in an outpatient therapy setting.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Possession of a valid state license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW is mandatory.

• Proficient knowledge in assessment tools and contemporary evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex psychological concepts clearly to clients and team members.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum requirement is 3 years of outpatient experience, candidates with additional certifications in trauma-informed care, substance abuse intervention, or specialized therapeutic modalities may be at an advantage. A background in community outreach and resource navigation would also enhance your effectiveness in this role.
