This contract position seeks two skilled professionals who are enthusiastic about guiding students through their academic journey, providing critical support during the school year.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Michigan education certificate with a valid School Counselor Endorsement (be sure to include all licenses and certifications on your application)
• Prior experience working in a high school setting or with adolescent-aged students preferred
• Strong communication, counseling, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, students, and families
• Proven commitment to helping students meet academic, social, and emotional goals

Core Responsibilities:

• Support high school students as an academic counselor for the 2026-2027 school year
• Guide students in course selection, graduation planning, and post-secondary preparation
• Provide counseling in academic, personal, and interpersonal development
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement student support plans
• Maintain accurate, confidential student records and documentation
• Participate in school events, workshops, and counseling programming as needed
