Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth psychosocial assessments to evaluate students' mental health, emotional challenges, and support systems.

• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that outline specific goals and actionable steps to support each student's unique needs.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and school personnel to coordinate care and ensure that services align with students’ academic and social frameworks.

• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment, preparing safety plans when necessary to safeguard the well-being of students.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of sessions and treatment progress, adhering to ethical and legal standards while ensuring confidentiality.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions, psychoeducation workshops, and support groups to build resilience within the student community.

• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with the latest evidence-based practices and treatment modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse population of students grappling with a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. You will work not only with the students but also with their families, offering education and resources to better support the students at home. Your role is pivotal in creating a safe space for students to express themselves and develop coping strategies, ultimately facilitating their success both inside and outside of the classroom.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Minimum of two years of experience in mental health or outpatient settings, particularly within school environments.
