Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of client needs and develop personalized therapy strategies that cater to individual circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, to deliver impactful therapy for individuals, couples, and families.

• Document all clinical interactions, maintaining accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate comprehensive patient care and contribute to treatment planning.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health treatment.

• Collaborate with community resources when necessary to enhance patient support and discharge planning.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counselors will work with a diverse population including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance use disorders. This role is pivotal in supporting clients towards recovery and improvement of their mental health, making a tangible difference in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of experience providing counseling services in a clinical setting.

• A strong knowledge of legal and ethical guidelines relating to clinical practice.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to establish rapport with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
