Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments of clients to establish a comprehensive understanding of their trauma history, leading to tailored treatment approaches.

• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, leveraging evidence-based methodologies.

• Utilize therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing and coping.

• Provide engaging individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma experiences and foster resilience.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other multidisciplinary team members to coordinate integrated care plans for clients.

• Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergency situations, ensuring the immediate safety and emotional stability of clients.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and coping strategies while providing information about available community resources.

• Maintain complete and confidential documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards to ensure quality care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals affected by trauma, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and related dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in the state of Florida is essential.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred.

• Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective, trauma-informed treatment modalities is crucial.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills, coupled with a compassionate demeanor.

Compensation and Benefits\n
