Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Red Oak Mental Healthcare, your role encompasses a range of clinical responsibilities, including:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Lead engaging group sessions where clients can share their experiences, support each other, and learn effective coping strategies in a safe and structured environment.

• Providing Individual Therapy: Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each client’s unique needs and circumstances.

• Creating Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that address their specific mental health challenges and aspirations.

• Monitoring Progress: Use various assessment tools to track client progress, providing ongoing evaluation and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with young adults aged 18 to 30 in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), which provides intensive outpatient care designed to help individuals facing significant mental health challenges. This demographic often includes clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional disorders, making your role critical in their journey towards healing and stability.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A valid and unrestricted LPC license in the state of Texas.

• A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate approach to counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n
