Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Trillium Health Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy: Facilitate engaging and supportive group therapy sessions, helping clients connect through shared experiences, fostering a sense of community, and providing skills for coping with challenges.

• Individual Counseling: Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions that cater to the unique thoughts, feelings, and behaviors of each client, focusing on developing tailored coping strategies and actionable plans to facilitate their journey toward recovery.

• Treatment Planning: Collaboratively create individualized treatment plans with clients, integrating their preferences and goals to ensure effective and meaningful therapeutic experiences.

• Progress Monitoring: Monitor client progress and evaluate outcomes, employing diverse assessment tools to adapt interventions as necessary and promote effective recovery paths.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, ensuring cohesive care through regular communication, case consultations, and coordinated client reviews to optimize treatment results.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your expertise in mental health will primarily focus on young adults facing a range of mental health challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety, and transitional issues. You will have the opportunity to work holistically, respecting and understanding the diverse backgrounds of our client base in Austin and surrounding areas.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in Texas.
\n
• Experience treating mental health disorders in either residential or outpatient settings.

• A collaborative attitude with a genuine passion for fostering positive change and outcomes for clients.

• Strong clinical skills in evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

Preferred Experience\n

While the above qualifications are mandatory, additional expertise or certifications in specialized therapy modalities, programs for young adults, or previous experience in remote counseling will be considered advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
