Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at building coping strategies and resilience.

• Monitor client progress diligently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments and feedback.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care practices.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other health professionals to provide integrated care for clients.

• Maintain accurate client documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the privacy and confidentiality of all records.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with clients who are experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our diverse client base includes individuals from various backgrounds, including those facing challenges related to homelessness, refugee status, and domestic abuse. Qualifications\n

• A current and active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
