Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: ACLS and BCLS certification required Must-Have: IV start proficiency Telemetry monitoring Epic experience Description: Schedule includes weekdays and some weekends, with rotating holidays. Most likely will be scheduled for day shifts. On-call duties are required. Estimated patient ratios are 1:3. Telemetry monitoring and care of ventilated patients are essential skills needed. Candidates should be proficient in all required skills, including IV administration, blood product administration, and management of dysrhythmias. Candidates must be willing to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed. Additional experience or certifications in related areas are preferred. Candidates must comply with credentialing processes, including fingerprinting as required. Two professional references are required. It is important that candidates are responsive and cooperative with credentialing to avoid potential issues.
