Work Environment\n

This role supports a remote work setting, providing flexibility while also requiring the ability to occasionally attend in-person meetings and collaborate with school and community partners. As part of an innovative healthcare team, you will engage with a variety of professionals dedicated to enhancing student mental health. Our working hours generally span Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the possibility of occasional evening or weekend work based on student needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver therapeutic services to students experiencing major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders in a supportive and affirming manner.

• Conduct assessments, develop diagnosis-related treatment plans, and participate in crisis interventions as necessary.

• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to create a holistic approach to student support, ensuring that educational staff are equipped with relevant information to aid in the student’s success.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with policy and funding requirements.
\n
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategize on interventions.
\n
• Provide psycho-education to students and their families, promoting empowerment and self-advocacy in mental health matters.

• Stay informed on best practices and current developments in the field of mental health and educational support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work closely with a diverse population of students, exploring cultural, social, and emotional factors that affect their mental health. Your focus will be on creating an inclusive environment where students feel seen, heard, and valued. This role requires not only clinical expertise but also a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by students in today's educational landscape.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, with a valid license to practice as a Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases while meeting deadlines.
