Key Responsibilities\n

Your responsibilities as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor will include:

• Group Therapy: Facilitate engaging group sessions that encourage peer connection, experience-sharing, and mutual support among clients.

• Individual Therapy: Provide personalized counseling to assess clients' thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, helping them develop effective coping strategies and actionable plans.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to create tailored treatment plans that reflect their specific needs and goals, ensuring they feel empowered in their recovery journey.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize various assessment tools to track client progress and outcomes, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are participating in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This population often faces unique challenges that can impact their mental health, including transitional life stresses, relationship issues, and academic or job-related pressures. Your role will involve not only therapeutic support but also advocacy and education for clients and their families.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required.

• A current and valid Massachusetts LMHC license is essential.

• Strong understanding of therapeutic modalities, particularly those applicable to young adult populations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
