Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a positive impact as a part-time Special Education Resource Teacher, providing essential support for students who benefit from both general education and targeted resource services. Working two days a week, you will collaborate directly with students who require specialized instruction, interventions, and accommodations throughout their school day. Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification or eligibility for certification
• Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong background supporting students with diverse learning needs in general education settings
• Familiarity with resource programming and use of both push-in and pull-out support models
• Effective communication and collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff
• Ability to provide executive functioning and academic skill development interventions

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and interventions tailored to individual IEP goals
• Provide both push-in and pull-out support to help students access grade-level curriculum
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt lessons and materials, promoting inclusion and success for students with disabilities
• Monitor and document progress toward IEP goals, adjusting supports as necessary
• Communicate regularly with families about student achievements and needs
• Support executive functioning, social-emotional development, and skill building for assigned students
