Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher in a dynamic elementary school setting, working with students in grades 1 and 2. This contract opportunity focuses on cross-categorical instructional programming and provides vital support to students with a wide range of academic, behavioral, and communication needs, including a significant population of learners identified with autism. You’ll have the chance to deliver instruction aligned with grade-level standards while also emphasizing individualized IEP goals.

Work in an environment where classrooms are equipped with structured teaching materials, visual and sensory supports, and where collaboration with related service providers is a key component of the daily program. Dedicated support is provided through a program aide and additional 1:1 staff according to student and IEP requirements.

What we’re seeking:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working with cross-categorical or self-contained classrooms
• Skills in creating and implementing individualized instructional plans and IEPs
• Familiarity with structured teaching, visual supports, and sensory regulation strategies
• Expertise in behavioral management and social-emotional intervention
• Strong collaboration skills with aides, related service staff, and families
• Dedication to fostering communication, independence, and academic growth

• Provide instruction tailored to both grade-level standards and personalized learning targets
• Maintain a structured, visually supported, and nurturing classroom environment
• Apply behavioral, social-emotional, and communication interventions throughout the day
