Range 21 ($5,387.63 - $6,417.36) per month based on the current Classified salary schedule .
- New employees will begin on Step G ($5,387.63). Salary negotiation is not allowed .
- Promoted or transferred employees will be placed as specified in the CBA.
- This position is FLSA Non-exempt (may accrue overtime).
- Excellent Benefits are provided to all Contract employees with assignments greater than, or equal to, 50% (0.50 FTE) and all eligible dependents.
- A temporary probationary period will apply to the employee entering this assignment.

Applications are currently being accepted for Administrative Assistant IV in the DSPS and Emeritus department, located at the San Diego College of Continuing Education. Hours are Monday- Friday 8am- 5pm. Selected candidate must be willing to adjust work days/hours based on the departments needs.

Desired Qualifications:- Experience providing high-level administrative support in a complex educational or student services environment, preferably within DSPS, counseling, or higher education programs.
- Strong knowledge of Title 5, ADA, FERPA, confidentiality requirements, and the ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Exceptional organizational, project management, and multitasking skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines, and large-scale program operations.
- Proficiency with student information systems, databases, spreadsheets, and case management systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively support faculty, administrators, students, and diverse campus stakeholders in a student-centered environment.

SELECTED CANDIDATE IS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT:

- Provide a Certificate of Tuberculosis Exam for initial appointment (Note: The certificate must be renewed every 4 years as a condition of continuing employment);
- Have fingerprints taken by a Live Scan computer at the Districts expense (Clearance must be received prior to first day of employment);
- Present original documents for proof of eligibility to work in the United States as required by the I9 Employment Eligibility Verification form ; AND,
- Attend a new hire processing appointment in People, Culture, and Technology Services located at the District Administrative Offices.
