Key Responsibilities\n

As a Virtual Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments using structured interviews and validated assessment tools to evaluate clients' mental health conditions and needs.

• Designing individualized treatment plans that blend traditional therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with alternative practices to address the whole person.

• Providing ongoing therapy sessions through a mix of individual, couples, family, and group formats, adapting your techniques to fit the modes best suited for client needs.

• Implementing evidence-based treatment modalities while remaining informed about emerging practices and research findings in the mental health field.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external resources to ensure a holistic approach to client care, including referrals when additional support is needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client base will encompass a variety of individuals, including those managing chronic illnesses such as cancer and other mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

To thrive in this position, applicants must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• Current and valid licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• A clean record with no history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third party.

• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
