Key Responsibilities\n

In the role of Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive and trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma history and create tailored treatment plans.

• Implementing individualized treatment strategies focusing on trauma recovery and resilience-building using evidence-based methodologies.

• Engaging in crisis intervention and offering immediate support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure the safety and stability of our patients.

• Maintaining thorough and confidential documentation according to legal standards and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with individuals suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a mental health counseling setting, with a focus on trauma-informed care.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities that enhance patient resilience.

• Additionally, strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit are essential to work effectively within our multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Turning Leaf offers a competitive yearly salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to monetary compensation, we provide:
