Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to accurately evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms related to mood disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, goals, and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in your sessions.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health challenges, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Continuously monitor client progress and modify treatment plans to address changing needs and circumstances.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and comprehensive care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic primarily serves individuals coping with mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, as well as various client populations facing additional challenges. This includes vulnerable groups such as homeless individuals, refugees, and victims of domestic violence. Your ability to provide empathetic support and tailored interventions will be vital in helping these clients navigate their unique circumstances and work toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold an active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
