Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client's needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, adapting your approach as necessary.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, depending on the client’s unique situation.

• Document and maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and quality of care.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and training to stay updated on the latest advancements in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve individuals and families who have historically faced barriers to accessing mental health care, addressing a wide range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Your role is essential in empowering clients to work through their challenges, enhancing their coping strategies, and fostering resilience in a supportive environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, with a strong emphasis on providing therapy in a clinical setting.

• A solid understanding of legal and ethical practices within the counseling profession.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with diverse client populations.

Preferred Experience\n
