This role allows you to work from the comfort of your home while being part of a collaborative outpatient team that values both professional growth and personal well-being. Your work schedule will typically run from Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing for a balanced work-life integration. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in your clients, ensuring they receive customized care.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each client's goals, needs, and preferences, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Provide education and support to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower them in their journey toward mental well-being.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring a focus on continual improvement and effective outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to offer integrated care, facilitating comprehensive support for clients.
\n
• Stay informed of the latest research on mood disorders to enhance treatment practices and improve client outcomes.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards ensuring utmost respect for client privacy.

• Participate in case consultations, internal team meetings, and ongoing training opportunities to hone your skills and share best practices.

• Advocate for clients by promoting mental health awareness and addressing social stigmas surrounding mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with clients experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will also provide essential support to vulnerable groups, including homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence, facilitating their access to mental health resources and holistic support.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is essential for this role.

• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach towards the experiences and challenges faced by clients.
