Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Conducting thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical condition and learn about their specific symptoms.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and creating personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Instructing patients on therapeutic exercise techniques, ensuring they understand how to perform these exercises safely and effectively.
• Implementing interventions such as massage or other manual therapies to promote healing and pain relief.
• Assisting patients with mobility aids, including wheelchairs and walkers, to enhance their independence.
• Maintaining accurate patient records, tracking progress, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving recovery goals.
• Educating patients and their families on home exercise programs and options for ongoing care between sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Physical Therapist will work with a diverse patient population, including children, athletes, adults, and seniors experiencing various physical challenges. Our therapists are trained to address a wide range of diagnoses, from postoperative rehabilitation to chronic pain management, ensuring every patient receives quality treatment aimed at restoring function and improving quality of life.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid California state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems.
• A passion for helping others and a positive attitude towards patient care.

Preferred Experience

While not required, candidates with:

• At least two years of clinical experience in a similar outpatient setting

• Proven track record of developing successful treatment plans
