Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individualized assessments and diagnostics to develop tailored therapy plans for clients.

• Facilitate individual, group, family, and couples therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Actively document session details in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, ensuring thorough and accurate clinical documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff, to deliver integrated client care.

• Participate in professional development workshops and training programs to stay abreast of best practices and current research in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on providing quality mental health services to diverse individuals and families who often face barriers to care. Clients may present a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance misuse. Your role as an LPC will be critical in ensuring these clients receive compassionate and effective support, enhancing their overall emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is a minimum requirement. Candidates with a Master's or Doctoral degree will be given preference.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted LPC licensure in the state of Texas.

• At least two years of professional counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or private practice setting.

• A thorough understanding of legal and ethical standards related to mental health counseling.

• The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload availability.
