Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify individual patient needs and collaboratively develop effective treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches—including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and others—to provide high-quality individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups, where you will provide essential knowledge and skills to patients, enhancing their understanding of mental health issues and coping strategies.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, holistic care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention support to patients in acute distress, applying your skills in a compassionate and effective manner.

• Educate patients about mental health conditions and available resources, empowering them to take an active role in their treatment journey.

• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive patient information.

• Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss case management and share insights on current best practices and treatment innovations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.

• A strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct mental health assessments and develop treatment strategies.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on empathy and understanding.

• Strong professional ethics and the ability to maintain boundaries.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• Proven experience in delivering therapy to a variety of populations, especially those with mental health and substance use disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our benefits package includes:
