Administrative Office Assistant (warehouse)

Administrative Office Assistant (warehouse) Job Information: Located in Parlin, NJ Company distributes industrial replacement parts such as customized rubber belts, straps and harnesses, bearings, rollers, etc., used on industrial machinery and equipment. Schedule/hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (NO REMOTE WORK). This person provides administrative support to the shop/warehouse. Paying $20 - $22 per hour (based on experience) Responsibilities Customer focused: answers calls and assists with business‑to‑business transactions. Helps file, copy, scan and prepares/creates digital files & documents such as customer orders or invoicing (will be reviewed by coworker). Assists with AR and AP—enters data for invoicing and makes journal entries as needed. Assists with entering data into the computerized ERP system. Helps process online orders. Greets customers who enter the warehouse. Works closely with the Office Manager. Provides customer support by troubleshooting and resolving issues. Performs administrative tasks as needed. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent is required; some college coursework or other related post‑high‑school training preferred. At least six (6) months of prior clerical or office/administrative support experience. Must be comfortable working with numbers and accurate in calculating basic multiplication and division (feet, inches, etc.). Must possess working computer skills & knowledge including ERP (database) management and MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Only considering those open to temp‑to‑hire work. No remote work.
