Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that consider both psychological and physiological factors affecting patients’ well-being.

• Design and execute integrated treatment plans that effectively address the unique needs stemming from both psychiatric and co-occurring medical conditions.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to the diverse backgrounds and challenges of our patients.

• Collaborate with a network of medical professionals, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care to improve treatment effectiveness.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, ensuring immediate support for patients experiencing mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients on the interplay between mental and physical health, empowering them to manage their conditions proactively and effectively.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation that meets legal and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in team discussions, sharing insights and learning from colleagues to enhance service delivery.

• Continuously update your knowledge of best practices and research in integrated mental health care to maintain a high standard of service.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals facing mental health challenges exacerbated by co-occurring medical conditions such as autoimmune disorders, substance use issues, and chronic pain. You will utilize a compassionate and individualized approach to address the complex needs of these patients, always aiming to improve their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
\n
• Strong understanding of the mental health needs of patients with comorbid medical conditions.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients and healthcare teams.

• A commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to ethical guidelines while ensuring the confidentiality of all patient information.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and common computer applications.
