Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct therapeutic sessions, including individual, couples, and family therapy, and utilize evidence-based practices to address a variety of mental health concerns.

• Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and timely documentation of all therapy sessions in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and case managers, to design and implement individualized treatment plans.

• Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to stay informed about the latest methodologies in mental health treatment.

• Utilize electronic health records (EHRs) and relevant healthcare technologies to manage client information, track progress, and ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health counselor at the Garden of Light, you will work with a diverse population, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in counseling or a related field, demonstrating expertise in dealing with diverse mental health issues.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and listening skills essential for building rapport with clients and team members.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills to effectively manage complex client cases.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience using electronic health records (EHR) systems to manage client information efficiently.

• Familiarity with telehealth modalities, as this role may involve virtual therapy sessions.

• Background in specific therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Trauma-Informed Care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 95,000 to 105,000 annually, based on your productivity and experience.
