Key Responsibilities\n

• Comprehensive Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of clients presenting mood disorders. This includes actively engaging in conversations to gather vital information about mental health history, current challenges, and psychosocial factors affecting their wellbeing.

• Accurate Diagnosis: Implement diagnostic criteria from the DSM-5 or other relevant manuals to provide precise and timely diagnoses for clients, ensuring they receive suitable care and support.

• Individualized Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to co-create tailored treatment plans, leveraging evidence-based practices that resonate with their unique goals and life circumstances.

• Evidence-Based Psychotherapy: Deliver effective psychotherapy interventions, potentially utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or mindfulness strategies, based on client needs.

• Collaboration on Medication Management: Work closely with our supervising psychiatrist MD to monitor and provide insights regarding medication efficacy, discussing aspects such as side effects and overall treatment alignment.

• Crisis Intervention: Offer immediate support and crisis intervention for clients undergoing acute psychiatric crises, implementing strategies to ensure their safety and therapeutic engagement.

• Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records, including treatment notes and progress assessments, in line with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration: Engage with an interprofessional team of mental health providers to deliver cohesive care, ensuring clients receive comprehensive support.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
