Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status and needs, taking into consideration their individual histories and presenting challenges.

• Develop comprehensive, personalized treatment plans aimed at addressing client-specific goals and issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship concerns.

• Conduct regular therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families using a collaborative, strengths-based approach to foster open communication and trust.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, or other relevant modalities tailored to client needs.

• Maintain detailed documentation of client progress, session notes, and treatment plans in compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare support staff, to ensure holistic client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Westwood Behavioral Health Center, you will work with a diverse clientele representing a broad spectrum of cultural, socio-economic, and developmental backgrounds. Clients typically present a range of mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, relationship issues, substance use, and trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n
