Accounts Receivable Specialist

Axios Professional Recruitment is partnered with a leading textile distributor in West Michigan to hire an Accounts Receivable Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys collaborating across departments, taking initiative, and contributing to a growing organization. Responsibilities: Prepare and issue customer invoices promptly and accurately. Process customer payments and record them correctly in the accounting system. Monitor outstanding balances and communicate with customers to ensure timely payment. Reconcile payments and customer accounts. Report discrepancies and identify delinquent accounts. Maintain positive customer relationships through clear, professional communication. Collaborate across departments to support accurate financial recordkeeping. Resolve customer inquiries and coordinate solutions with internal teams or external partners. Support data collection for internal and external audits. Assist with month-end reporting activities. Perform additional accounting tasks as required. Qualifications: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. One to two years of accounting experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Detail-oriented, able to multitask, and self-motivated. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills. Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is a plus.
