Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients’ unique histories and highlight their therapeutic needs.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans centered on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to provide effective care.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, enabling clients to process their trauma and develop essential coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide holistic and integrated care for all clients.

• Respond to crisis situations with urgency and sensitivity, offering immediate support and intervention as needed.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms while directing them to available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation adhering to all legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations, in addition to ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Continuously update knowledge of the latest research and treatment methodologies in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

Our client base is composed of individuals from various backgrounds who have experienced trauma in its numerous forms. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Kansas is mandatory.

• Proven track record with a minimum of two years post-licensure clinical experience relevant to the duties described.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor in all client interactions.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress scenarios, supporting clients through difficult emotional experiences.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems necessary for documentation and patient management.

• Capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment that shares a commitment to patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is required, those with experience in trauma-focused therapeutic approaches, crisis intervention strategies, and previous roles in a telehealth environment will find this position particularly rewarding. Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
