Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Vatica Counseling Center, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments and diagnosis of various mental health disorders, thereby creating intervention strategies tailored to the ever-evolving needs of clients.

• Collaborating with patients' families, healthcare providers, and community agencies to deliver a continuum of care, while making referrals to support services, treatment programs, and additional mental health specialists when necessary.

• Actively participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop effective discharge plans for patients, ensuring they receive ongoing care and resources as they transition from our services.

• Staying compliant with relevant laws and facility standards by operating within the scope of the Mental Health Practice Act, while continuously updating your knowledge on federal and state regulations affecting mental health practice.

• Conducting regular evaluations and modifications of care plans based on feedback from clients or changes in their situations, ensuring that treatment remains relevant and effective.

• Providing psychoeducation and supportive counseling to families and caregivers, including crisis intervention and bereavement support as situations arise.

• Acting as an advocate for clients, facilitating effective communication across various care teams and ensuring that patients' voices are heard in their treatment journey.

• Identifying potential barriers to access services for clients at risk for unjust delays or rehospitalization, proactively working to mitigate these challenges.

Qualifications\n
