Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to gather information about clients' mental health histories, challenges, and needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a licensed Mental Health Therapist at East Avenue Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse client base, including adults, adolescents, and families. Your primary focus will be on clients experiencing a range of mental health challenges such as PTSD, depression, anxiety disorders, and other psychological issues. Our practice emphasizes understanding the individual context of each client, enabling you to provide personalized and effective therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid state license as a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT), licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC), or licensed clinical social worker (LCSW).

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; a master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster rapport with clients.

• Possess empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude toward clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Evidence of strong organizational and time-management skills to handle a dynamic caseload.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
