Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate and address the individual needs of clients, ensuring effective treatment plans.

• Engaging in regular communication across multi-disciplinary teams, including supervisors, direct care staff, family members, and guardians to track and discuss a client's progress.

• Developing a schedule of appointments, home visits, and client observations to maintain oversight of patient management and treatment fidelity.

• Coordinating in-home visits, facilitating observations, chart reviews, and staff interviews to gather data necessary for informed treatment adjustments.
\n
• Ensuring the proper implementation of therapeutic programs, actively participating in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings to align efforts toward client goals.
\n
• Documenting patient progress through detailed monthly and quarterly notes, maintaining accurate and organized records for compliance and continuity of care.
\n
• Facilitating training sessions for staff members to enhance their abilities in implementing therapeutic programs and maintaining documentation integrity.
\n
• Offering follow-up support through interviews and home visits, ensuring ongoing responsiveness to clients’ evolving needs.

• Acting as a liaison within the mental health community, helping to foster relationships that enhance resources and support for our clients.

• Assisting in the creation of training materials aimed at elevating program effectiveness and supporting individual client improvements.

Qualifications\n

Candidates for this position must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) within the state of Tennessee.

• A minimum of two years of experience in counseling, ideally in a clinical or outpatient setting.

• A strong proficiency in working with clients experiencing family dynamics, couples therapy, or specific trauma-related issues.

• A solid understanding of legal, ethical, and professional standards in mental health care.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated success in building rapport with various clientele.

• Proficiency in EMR systems and technology utilized for client management and documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in specialized areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, or trauma-informed care will significantly enhance your application. Compensation and Benefits\n
