Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy to students facing a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ mental health status, taking into consideration their social, emotional, and academic functioning to develop appropriate intervention strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize solution-focused, evidence-based practices tailored to the unique needs of each student.

• Actively collaborate with educators, school counselors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to each student’s care.

• Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed based on outcomes and feedback.

• Educate students and their families on mental health conditions and available resources, including coping mechanisms and community support services.

• Maintain strong ethical standards by ensuring confidentiality and obtaining informed consent from parents and guardians.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role will be on school-aged children and adolescents who may experience various mental health challenges. You will work directly with students who require support in managing their mental health, enhancing their emotional skills, and improving their overall academic engagement. Understanding the developmental stages of youth and the pressures they face—as well as making connections with their families and school staff—will be crucial to your success.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy and mental health services, with a specific focus on youth populations preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
