Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of each client's mood disorder symptoms and functional impairments.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring that their specific goals, preferences, and needs are met.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective interventions.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to ensure informed decision-making.

• Actively monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and other specialists to provide integrated and coordinated care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatment to continually improve therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Oasis of Serenity Healthcare, you will primarily work with individuals grappling with mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Additionally, our client base features vulnerable populations such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse, allowing you the opportunity to make a significant impact on lives that have faced adversity.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
