Key Responsibilities\n

• Implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with clinical guidance, tailoring your approach based on each client’s unique needs and circumstances.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of treatment plans, daily progress notes, incident reports, client bios, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.

• Facilitate and lead therapeutic group sessions, fostering a supportive environment for clients to share experiences and strategies for coping.

• Engage in regular staff meetings and case conferences to discuss client progress, share insights, and collaborate on effective treatment approaches.

• Conduct individual sessions with clients and collaborate with family members and other professionals involved in the clients’ care.

• Support clients in accessing additional social service resources and advocate on their behalf within the community and with local agencies.

• Work with interns and volunteers in organizing activities that enrich the therapeutic experience and promote wellness among clients.

• Network with local facilities and community organizations to generate intake referrals and broaden the support base for clients.

• Uphold strict confidentiality as mandated and adhere to the ethical standards of the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association.

• Contribute to the ongoing accreditation processes by familiarizing yourself with standards set by JCAHO, Medicaid, and DBH.

• Assist with completing psychosocial assessments, actively tracking client progress throughout their treatment journey.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related discipline.

Compensation and Benefits\n
