Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and interviews, carefully documenting client histories from the first consultation to the completion of treatment.

• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health through diagnostic tools and interviews.

• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring they are culturally competent and evidence-based.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic models and interventions to foster client growth and recovery.

• Monitor and document client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes in client needs and goals.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, social workers, and other mental health specialists to optimize client care.

• Manage referrals to external resources, ensuring clients have access to additional support services when needed.

• Assist families and primary caregivers in understanding and managing mental health challenges associated with their loved ones.

• Proactively identify potential barriers to recovery, working closely with clients to overcome obstacles.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base includes individuals from a variety of demographics and backgrounds who present with diverse mental health challenges. You will work with adults, adolescents, couples, and families facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction disorders, and relationship difficulties. A commitment to cultural competency and sensitivity to the unique needs of our clients is paramount in ensuring successful therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.
\n
• A passing score on either the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Solid foundational knowledge of mental health diagnosis and treatment methodologies.
\n
• Proficiency utilizing electronic health record systems, particularly with experience in AVATAR or similar platforms.

• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) guidelines.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior professional experience in a mental health counseling role, with demonstrated success in providing therapeutic support.

• Experience addressing both mental health and co-occurring physical health conditions, as well as knowledge of addiction disorders.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills complemented by strong interpersonal abilities, allowing for empathetic and effective client interactions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
