This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, along with a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations by performing preliminary interviews and systematically documenting case histories from initial consultations to treatment conclusion.

• Assess the mental, behavioral, and emotional states of clients using established diagnostic criteria to develop individualized treatment plans that address specific needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to promote therapeutic engagement and foster support among participants.
\n
• Monitor and document client progress through consistent evaluation and modification of treatment plans as needed.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapists, medical professionals, and social workers to implement integrative care strategies.

• Manage referrals to support client recovery, working closely with external resources as needed for comprehensive care.
\n
• Attending to the needs of families and primary caregivers by providing guidance on managing mental health challenges.
\n
• Identify and mitigate behaviors that may hinder recovery, using skills in crisis intervention when necessary.

• Regularly follow up with additional healthcare providers regarding medication management for clients undergoing treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a wide range of clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, each facing unique mental health challenges. Our diverse patient population includes those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and relationship issues. Your ability to understand the complexities of these challenges and address them with empathy will significantly influence their treatment outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Experience as a mental health counselor, providing direct client care and facilitating therapeutic interventions.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to maintain accurate documentation and client records.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in dealing with co-occurring disorders and an understanding of the relationship between mental health and physical health issues.

• Familiarity with the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• A robust understanding of the effects of medications prescribed for mental health treatment and their management.
