Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough client assessments and develop tailored treatment plans that address pre-crisis and crisis situations, including risk assessments and positive behavior support plans.

• Document client interactions and treatment progress promptly and accurately, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as indicated by your assessments to inform treatment decisions.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and programs to implement effective positive behavior support strategies.

• Engage actively in agency licensing and accreditation processes, contributing to the organization’s commitment to quality care.

• Serve as a liaison with state agencies and community partners to ensure cohesive support for clients and represent our organization in various community settings.

• Foster open communication with all stakeholders, ensuring that contract standards are met while promoting our mission in the community.

• Remain engaged in continual professional development, attending relevant trainings, conferences, and meetings that enhance your expertise and contribute to the agency’s goals.

• Other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to fulfill the mission of Great Lakes Psychotherapy Services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals facing emotional distress, those recovering from substance use, and people dealing with developmental disabilities and brain injuries. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required.

• Possession of an independent LMHC license issued by the state board is essential for this position.
