Key Responsibilities\n

• Consult with prenatal care team members, including medical providers, midwives, doulas, and lactation educators to ensure comprehensive integrated care for clients.
\n
• Co-facilitate childbirth education and postpartum peer support groups, partnering with skilled birth workers to enhance group learning and support.
\n
• Engage with the community through wellness activities designed to promote holistic health and build supportive networks among birthing individuals and families.
\n
• Participate in clinical consultation sessions and interdisciplinary co-learning opportunities to expand your expertise and improve client care strategies.
\n
• Complete necessary clinical documentation as per organizational standards with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
\n
• Provide direct mental health services including comprehensive behavioral health assessments, individual counseling, and effective case management tailored to the specific needs of clients.

• Undertake additional duties as assigned to further the mission of the organization and enhance service delivery.

Your primary focus will be on delivering mental health support to Black birthing families, a demographic in need of tailored care. Qualifications\n

• A valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) is required.

• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse, multicultural, and interdisciplinary staff, ensuring a collaborative approach to client care.

• Ability to work efficiently while recognizing when to seek support or guidance, balancing autonomy with teamwork.

• A Master’s degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited institution is a must, providing you with the foundational knowledge for this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
